Free tool · Leak Check
Is your website quietly leaking customers?
Paste your address. In about 30 seconds, Google’s own test shows where visitors slip away: speed, phones, search and slow replies.
How Pro Indies works · Part 1
Four quiet leaks
Most business websites don’t fail loudly. They leak: a few visitors here, a lost enquiry there. These are the four we see most, and the four this check looks for.
Run the check ↑- 01
It’s slow
Every extra second on a phone is a chance to tap back and pick someone else. We time how fast your main content shows, how long the page ignores taps, and whether the layout jumps.
- 02
It breaks on phones
Many of your visitors are on phones. A shrunken desktop layout, tiny buttons, blocked zoom or blurry images quietly send them away.
- 03
Google and AI can’t find it
Missing titles and descriptions, links Google can’t follow, or a page that asks not to be listed. If search can’t read you, neither can the AI assistants built on it.
- 04
Enquiries wait days
The leak no robot can see. If replies take days, or there’s no obvious way to get in touch, people go with whoever answers first.

How does the leak check work?
When you press Check my site, your browser asks Google PageSpeed Insights to test the page. Google loads it on a simulated mid-range phone over a throttled mobile connection and runs Lighthouse, its open-source auditing tool. We turn that report into four leaks in plain English. Enquiry handling can’t be measured by a robot, so you answer three quick yes/no questions for that one.
What exactly do you check?
Speed: the mobile performance score plus Largest Contentful Paint, Total Blocking Time, Cumulative Layout Shift, First Contentful Paint and Speed Index. Phones: mobile viewport, tap-target size, pinch-to-zoom and image sharpness. Search: the SEO score and whether the page can be listed, has a title and meta description, uses crawlable and descriptive links, a valid robots.txt, canonical and hreflang tags, and image alt text. We also show the accessibility and best-practices scores. It tests the single page you enter, not your whole site.
Is it really free?
Yes. There’s no sign-up and no catch. The optional fix list, written by a person on our team, is free too, and you’re welcome to fix everything yourself.
Do you store my website address?
No. The check runs in your browser: your address goes straight to Google PageSpeed Insights to be tested (Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply), and the results only live on your screen. Pro Indies only receives your address, along with a summary of the results, if you choose to send the “Email me the fix list” form. A copied results link contains the address so it can re-run the check when opened.
Why might my score differ from last time?
Lab tests vary a few points between runs because network and server timing are never identical. Look at the overall picture and the leaks rather than a single number. Where Google has enough real-visitor data from Chrome users, we show that too.
